What were you doing when you were 13 and 11? Chances are you weren’t making an album that’s taking music circles by storm, or supporting Pearl Jam, but that’s exactly what two American girls are doing with their new band, Smoosh. The Guardian first brought them to my attention, and wondering what they sounded like, I checked out the record company web site where you can download a track for free.

And the result? Well it ain’t half bad! Not sure I’ll be buying the album, but cool music coming from a teenager and her little sister!
