I used to buy Smash Hits religously when I was growing up for music goss and song words! I can remember going along to the newsagents in Monifieth every two weeks and buying it on the day it came out. So I’m a wee bit sad to see it’s closing down, but at least the name will carry on – with a radio station, tv channel and web site.
