I had an iTrip for my old iPod, which wasn’t compatible with my new one, and I used it quite a bit whenever I was on a long drive for work. It’s basically a wireless transmitter which plugs into your iPod and transmits music to an FM frequency you set on a radio – be it in your house or in your car – so it’s handy!

However, due to some ancient piece of legislation here in the UK, it’s illegal to use one (although I don’t know anyone that’s been proseucted). There’s an article on BBC News today which says that the situation is being reviewed, but it sounds like it could take months. A bit of a ridiculous situation if you ask me.
