So, very excited, I went to see Quantum of Solace on Sunday night – it’s the new James Bond film if you have been living under a rock.

It starts very, very quickly. The editing is so fast during the first couple of minutes of the film, it’s pretty near impossible to work out what was going on. And that’s the pace for a lot of the movie. Unfortunately I started thinking about something completely different (my current woman situation) when a key plot point was revealed – right at the beginning of the film. So as a result, I struggled to catch up and understand the rest of the film 100%. So I may need to go and see it again.

It was good, and I enjoyed it, but probably not as much as Casino Royale. It didn’t look as visually stunning to me, and is action-packed all the way through, rather than having Casino Royale’s more relaxed scenes. I also curse myself for thinking about women whilst I am watching the film because otherwise I probably would have understood it more.

Go and see it, but pay attention. I think I might need to go and see it again.
